TDmonthly's Fall 2009 Award Winners! TDmonthly Magazine's Fall 2009 award winners include bugs that buyers can't resist, sophisticated arts and crafts kits for girls, games with penguins, gobblers and plenty of dice, and beautiful natural and wooden toys for babies and toddlers. No nominees or winners paid a submission fee to be considered for the program or chosen as an award recipient, and evaluation yielded a select batch of winners — 38 great products that account for less than 30 percent of the original submissions. Products were reviewed based on various criteria, including play value, safety, price point vs. quality, factors of social or environmental awareness, favorable review from retailers, consumers, experts and/or TDmonthly staff, and successful presence in or availability to the specialty market. Click on the award seals to see details on the winners in the four respective categories — Top Toy, Top Seller, Innovations and Classic — and see the complete list of winners below.
