SET is a board game where any table becomes the board. It is a highly addictive, original game of visual perception. The goal is to be the first to see a SET from the 12 cards laid face up on the table. A SET is three cards that are either all the same or all different in each individual feature. With no turns and no luck, SET is challenging, fast and fun! Players 1 to 20 (or as many as can fit around a table) Ages 6 to 99 — “It's a really great game, one that we sell day in and day out,” Sally Lesser, owner of Henry Bear’s Park in Massachusetts, told TDmonthly in spring 2007. — Two of 63 retailers mentioned Set when asked about their overall best-selling toy or game in September 2008. Ten of 64 retailers named Set as a best-selling card game in August 2008, and more than 25 percent of 38 retailers said the same in late summer 2009. In Feb. 2010, five of 38 retailers cited it as a top-selling game. — “[Set is] popular mainly because all ages can play it at the same time,” pointed out Greg Bonner, owner of Heights Toy Center in Little Rock, Ark., in summer 2008. — In a late summer 2010 TDmonthly survey, 23 percent of 43 retailers surveyed named SET a best-selling card game. AWARDS: 2010 TDmonthly Top Seller; 2007 TDmonthly Classic
Moses is dressed in hand-sewn clothing and sandals, and carries a walking staff. Using voice chip technology, the doll recites Exodus 20:3-17, the Ten Commandments, when he is gently pressed near the waist. The 12" doll is made from PVC with hand painted detail. Launch date: August 2007.
This 12" collectible doll depicts Buffy (as played by Sarah Michelle Gellar on the TV series "Buffy the Vampire Slayer") as she appeared in the episode "Prophecy Girl," wearing a leather jacket over her white prom gown. She is armed with a crossbow, wooden stake, and cross necklace, and she carries her trusty Vampyr book for those unexpected showdowns with the undead.
These tiny 3" vinyl dolls resemble workers you would expect to find in Santa´s workshop. The first series of Ice-Bots include 14 different characters. One secret design has yet to be released. The dolls are packaged blind, so the character’s identify is a surprise when the box is opened.
— “Mostly adults buy these,” noted Tory Middlebrooks of Lulubell: A Toy Bodega in Tucson, Ariz. “They’re usually collectors of art toys.” — Another retailer pointed out that collectors start young. These Bots make a good start.
The latest entry into the fashion doll trend, Asiana challenges young girls to be "a real fashion designer" by giving them a mannequin, detachable parts, multiple outfits, and a wide assortment of accessories to use in creating a uniquely outlandish fashion style.
